Why did you decide to become a CALT?
I became a CALT because I wanted to teach my students how to read. I was young and new to the education system, and I sought out training in something that would positively impact my students’ lives.
Favorite moment working with dyslexic students?
My favorite moment working with dyslexic students is when I see a student in another class using what I taught them to help with their work.
Your goal when working with kids with dyslexia?
My goal when working with kids who have dyslexia is to build a strong connection with each student. I want them to feel supported and valued in our learning environment. This helps me create personalized strategies to help them learn effectively and stay motivated.”
