No two readers are the same, and neither are their paths to success. At Dyslexia On Demand, we provide expert online dyslexia therapy built around each child, delivered one-on-one or in small groups by Certified Academic Language Therapists.
Our therapy uses the Orton-Gillingham approach and the research-based Take Flight curriculum to build reading, spelling, and writing skills that last. Whether your child needs individual therapy, small-group intervention, or comprehensive testing, our goal is simple: to make high-quality dyslexia support accessible, flexible, and truly personal.

Certified Academic Language Therapists provide structured, diagnostic dyslexia intervention designed to build accurate, fluent, and independent reading and writing skills.
Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALTs) review comprehensive evaluations and academic samples, then administer baseline assessments. Data-driven results guide diagnostic, prescriptive instruction that builds accuracy, fluency, and independence in written language.

CALTs provide explicit instruction in the structure of the English language—phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and orthography—to support measurable growth in reading accuracy, fluency, comprehension, spelling, and written expression.
CALTs provide high-quality one-to-one or small-group intervention through a secure virtual platform, making expert dyslexia therapy accessible to families regardless of location. This model allows for consistency, flexibility, and sustained progress over time.

CALTs integrate visual, auditory, and motor pathways with explicit instruction in the structure of English, creating a strong foundation for reading, spelling, and written language development.

Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia

Two-year curriculum written by the staff of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC).

Builds on the success of the three previous dyslexia therapy programs developed by the staff of TSRHC: Alphabetic Phonics, the Dyslexia Training Program, and TSRH Literacy Program.

Designed for use by Certified Academic Language Therapists for children with dyslexia ages seven and older.

Developed to enable students with dyslexia to achieve and maintain better word recognition, reading fluency, and reading comprehension, and aid in the transition from a therapy setting to “real world” learning.

Decades of research point to one conclusion: students with dyslexia make the strongest progress when reading is taught through structured, multisensory instruction. That evidence base traces back to the Orton-Gillingham approach, which shapes how our therapists work with every child. Its core principles are what make dyslexia therapy effective:
