I enjoy working with students of all ages.
Why did you decide to become a CALT?
I became a CALT as I have a deep drive to help others feel success while finding their strengths.
Favorite moment working with dyslexic students?
I have so many wonderful moments with my students. However, one of my favorite moments is when a student who openly expressed how much he disliked reading due to it being difficult saw a book we had finished reading a few weeks earlier and stated how much he missed the book.
Your goal when working with kids with dyslexia?
My goal is to have ALL of my students find a love for reading. I want them to understand that they CAN do HARD things.
Your teaching style, personality?
I want to build personal relationships with my students. I want my students to feel comfortable to try new things. I desire them to know that I will always be there for them.
Any family details?
I am a proud Mom of two brilliant dyslexic children.
